Would larger aircraft carrying more passengers solve the problem?

Larger aircraft would only solve a small part of the congested airways. Larger aircraft will only help if they are flown at full passenger capacity on every route. If they are flown at capacity this would reduce the number of aircraft on major routes by less than 3%.
