Cirrocumulus Clouds
These high altitude clouds take the form of individual puffs. They often form
in patchy groups with spaces between the individual members. Composed almost
entirely of ice crystals, their base altitudes typically range from about 16,500
to 45,000 feet. Other high clouds include cirrus,
and cirrostratus.
